Costa was #BornOnTheWater by a group of fishermen in 1983. Since then, we have supported causes that contribute to the preservation of our watery world. It’s part of our DNA.
Lately we’ve seen an increasing amount of plastic pollution on our adventures. Plastic is not only clogging our landfills but is finding its way into our waterways and oceans at an unprecedented rate. Kick Plastic was launched by Costa to help reduce the amount of plastic we use as a company and to mobilize a movement. You can help.
We're big fans of Costa around the brewery, having relied on their eyeware to keep the ol peepers feelin good for a long while. We're also big fans of their commitment to clean water - a topic near and dear to our hearts. When we heard they liked our brews, seemed like a no brainer to team up.
Kick Plastic Pilsner is born of that partnership. A refreshing and drinkable pilsner brewed to beat the summer heat, the beer serves as not only as a thirst annihilator but also our pledge to raise awareness of the dangers single use plastics pose to our waterways. A percentage of profits from each case of Kick Plastic sold (in addition to our other brews), will go back to the organizations on this site who fight for clean water every day.
South Florida native Eric Estrada is a visual artist. His passion for fishing stems from regular childhood trips to the Florida Keys, where he was captivated by the ocean. While most known for his acrylic work on canvas, by combining his love for art, music, and fishing, Eric has also found an outlet in filmmaking. He donated his time and talent to provide the badass art on the Kick Plastic Pilsner packaging.
